Blue Strike partnered with the City of Sun Prairie to develop a comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CAP) that included both municipal operations and community-wide greenhouse gas inventories. This plan served as a strategic roadmap to reduce emissions, enhance sustainability initiatives, and build a more resilient community. Our team assessed the City’s current sustainability goals and programs, identifying opportunities to align efforts with ambitious emissions reduction targets. Through a robust community engagement process—including online surveys, public workshops, meetings with elected officials, and pop-up events—we ensured that the CAP reflected the priorities and needs of Sun Prairie’s residents. The final plan provided actionable strategies for long-term emissions reduction, guiding the City toward a more sustainable future.
